CITU state secretary Com. Kattakkada Sasi passes away

We record our deep sorrow and pain at the passing of CITU state secretary Com. Kattakkada Sasi.

He had Covid but had tested negative. He was put on a ventilator at the medical college after his creatinine levels rose, and passed away early this morning.

The loss of the comrade, state president of the Headload Workers Federation and chairman of the Headload Workers Welfare Board, is irreparable for the CITU and the workers' movement. We share the grief of his family and comrades at his sudden passing.
