Join the fight against Covid: CITU

With Covid spreading, the people face a great threat. A section of the people who are losing their jobs and incomes are in great difficulty. The government's prevention work is praiseworthy. In this situation, the CITU state secretariat appeals to the state's workers and workers' organisations to take an active part in Covid prevention work.

The directions the government puts forward to stop the spread of Covid must be strictly followed. Everyone must take care that Covid does not spread at workplaces. Trade unions must take the initiative to help poor workers who cannot work because they have Covid, and other needy people. Workers must come forward to do volunteer work taking the sick to hospital and caring for them. We appeal to all trade unions and workers to take up charitable work on a war footing.
