Kerala hartal in solidarity with the Bharat Bandh

A Kerala hartal will be held in the state in solidarity with the Bharat Bandh called by farmers' organisations on September 27, raising demands including the withdrawal of the central government's draconian anti-farmer and anti-people laws, an end to fuel price hikes and the abandonment of public sector privatisation.

The hartal is from 6 am to 6 pm. The joint trade union committee appealed to all the people to come out and make the hartal a success by keeping vehicles off the road and closing shops and commercial establishments that day.
