All-India strike begins in the state

The all-India strike against the central government's anti-worker and anti-farmer policies was a huge success in the state.

Workers and central and state employees cooperated fully with the strike, which became a strong warning against the central government's anti-worker and anti-farmer policies.

On behalf of the state committee of the joint trade unions, CITU state general secretary Elamaram Kareem, INTUC state president R Chandrasekharan and AITUC state general secretary K P Rajendran saluted all the workers, central and state government employees and other sections of people who made the strike total.
