Big rise in welfare fund board membership

Since the LDF government came to power, welfare fund board membership has risen sharply from what it was under the previous government. The welfare fund boards, which had fewer than 70 lakh members, now have 80.07 lakh. Since the LDF government came to power, the welfare fund pension has also been raised from Rs 600 to Rs 1,400. Even while facing Covid, floods and other disasters, the government has been able to pay pensions to all workers without missing a single month.
