CITU gets ready for another historic struggle

The All India Coordination Committee of Working Women / CITU is getting ready for another historic struggle.

Raising demands including work for all,

recognition of women's unpaid work and a guaranteed minimum wage,

and an end to violence against women and children,

the All India Coordination Committee of Working Women / CITU is organising a jail bharo (fill the jails) protest on March 6, 2020, as part of International Women's Day, at all district levels, main centres and capitals.

The decision was taken at the CITU national conference held in Chennai.

On one side, violence against women and children is rising;

on the other, the central government is pressing ahead with anti-worker and anti-women positions.

It is in this situation that the historic struggle is being organised under the leadership of the All India Coordination Committee of Working Women / CITU.
