Government's helping hand to the fisheries sector

A helping hand from the government for the fisheries sector, struggling with many crises including the natural calamities of October-November and Covid.

Today's cabinet meeting decided to give one-time help of Rs 3,000 each to 1,59,481 (one lakh fifty-nine thousand four hundred and eighty-one) fishworker families in the state. The state government is setting aside Rs 47.84 crore for this.
