Headload Workers Union (CITU) Secretariat march

Hundreds of workers took part in the Secretariat march organised by the Thiruvananthapuram district committee of the Headload Workers Union (CITU), raising various demands.

The workers held a march and dharna to the Secretariat with various demands, including: protect the jobs and wages of headload workers; remedy the flaws in the Headload Workers Act by amending the law; and withdraw the central government's anti-worker labour codes.
