ILO speaks out against the scrapping and subversion of labour laws

The ILO has come out against various governments in India scrapping and subverting labour laws. The International Labour Organization responded in a statement issued the other day in reply to a question from Business Standard.

The ILO said labour laws must not be changed unilaterally in a way that falls short of international standards, and that fundamental rights and labour rights must be protected.
