Joint trade unions to march to Raj Bhavan against the Centre's move to privatise BPCL
CITU state general secretary Elamaram Kareem will inaugurate the Raj Bhavan march organised by the joint trade unions against the central government's move to privatise BPCL.
BPCL, which employs more than thirty thousand permanent and contract workers, has made investments of half a lakh crore rupees in the last five years.
The joint trade union committee has also decided to hold a long march from the Kochi Refinery to Raj Bhavan from March 27 to April 8 against the central government's move to privatise a profit-making public sector undertaking.
