United struggle of farmers and workers completes one year
Overcoming attacks, barricades and barbed-wire fences, the united struggle of farmers and workers has completed one year. With each passing day the farmers faced various forms of violence, including tear gas and lathi charges.
The farmers began their historic advance on November 26 last year, the day crores of the country's workers went on strike. The Prime Minister apologising to the struggling farmers and deciding to withdraw all three black laws show the strength of the united struggle. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha has decided to continue the struggle until, along with the withdrawal of the farm laws, the other demands raised from the beginning are also accepted.
Farmers from states such as Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh are taking part in today's programmes at the various struggle centres in Delhi. For two days there has been a strong flow of tractors and other vehicles into Delhi to take part. Tractor rallies are also being held in various state capitals.
