Young man joins protest from a Covid treatment centre

Com. Dileep of Angadipuram took part from a Covid treatment centre in Manjeri in the nationwide protest called by the national trade unions against the central government, which is privatising all the country's vital public sectors under cover of Covid.

Com. Dileep tested positive the other day after contact with a Covid patient at a bank in the area and is now at the Covid treatment centre in Manjeri. Convener of the CITU Angadipuram panchayat committee and district joint secretary of the Motor Workers Union, Com. Dileep leads and takes an active part in the CITU's struggles and protests. Though he now has Covid, as in all other agitations he joined today's united protest of the working class against the central government's anti-worker and anti-people stand, from the Covid treatment centre.

Activists like him, who engage with and point to the problems facing the country's workers and public even amid their own health problems, are an example to us. We wish Comrade Dileep a full recovery and a quick return to take on the challenges facing the working class in these new times.
